This Privacy Policy explains how LitMen Fibre collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit the website, place an order or submit a custom request.

1. Data controller

LitMen Fibre, Mercatorweg 63, 6827 DB Arnhem, Netherlands, is responsible for the personal data processed through this website.

2. Personal data we collect

When you place an order or request a custom product, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, VAT number if provided, order details, selected products, colors, quantities, custom notes, invoice details and payment status.

The website may also process technical data such as IP address, browser information, device information, cookie consent status, security logs and session-related data required for checkout, fraud prevention and website security.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to process orders, accept payments, arrange production and shipping, generate invoices, provide customer support, handle returns or damaged shipments and meet accounting or legal obligations.

Order details may be used to confirm production choices such as models, colors, quantities, delivery address and order status.

We do not sell personal data.

4. Stripe payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may process payment data, fraud-prevention data and transaction information as an independent service provider.

LitMen Fibre receives payment status and transaction identifiers from Stripe, but does not store full card numbers or complete card security details.

5. Cookies and tracking

The website uses necessary cookies or local storage for legal consent and checkout functionality.

Functional, analytics or marketing cookies are only used after you have given consent where consent is required. The website must not load Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel or similar non-essential trackers before consent.

6. Legal bases

We process order data to perform a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations such as accounting and tax rules, and where necessary for legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and customer support.

Where consent is required, such as for non-essential cookies, you may withdraw that consent.

7. Data retention

Order and invoice data may be retained for the period required by Dutch tax, accounting and consumer law.

Non-essential data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

8. Your GDPR rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of data, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing and data portability.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, including consent for non-essential cookies.

You may request deletion of your personal data. Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution obligations.

9. International shipping

If your order is shipped outside the Netherlands or the European Union, necessary delivery information may be shared with postal services, couriers, customs authorities or fulfilment partners.

LitMen Fibre uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No website or online service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Processors and recipients

Personal data may be shared with service providers only where needed to operate the store, process payments, deliver orders, send order emails, maintain accounting records or comply with legal duties.

Relevant recipients may include Stripe, hosting providers, email providers, postal or courier services, customs authorities, accounting support and legal or tax advisers where necessary.
